| On December 3, Jerome Mcdonnell, of WBEZ, in Chicago, in his show, Worldview, interviewed
Helen Mack and Kate Doyle, as part of a segment
on "Seeking Justice in Central America".
Helen Mack's case against the material and
intellectual authors of the murder of her
sister, Myrna Mack, in 1990, led to the recent
conviction of a high ranking military official
of the Guatemala Presidential Guard (EMP).
Kate Doyle, Director of the Guatemala Documentation
Project of the National Security Archive presented evidence in the Myrna Mack case from over 2,000 declassified United States documents. The evidence revealed intricate ties between United States military and security agencies and the Guatemalan military and EMP.
