The Foundation for Human Rights In Guatemala (FHRG), in cooperation with the Ecumenical Program on Central America and the Caribbean (EPICA) will be hosting the San Marcos REMHI team in Chicago, as part of a three-city tour.
Produced by the Archbishops Office on Human Rights in Guatemala, the REMHI (Recovery of the Historic Memory) report the product of interviews with nearly 7,000 victims of violence during the countrys 36-year civil war attributed almost 90% of the atrocities and over 400 massacres to the Guatemalan army.
Three members of the REMHI projects San Marcos team will discuss the project and its role in healing and reconciliation in post-war Guatemala.
